We Didn't Build CNU Stretch
in a Classroom.
CNU Stretch was built on a gym floor in Delaware — tested on real clients, refined through real revenue, and shared because other gym owners and fitness professionals kept asking how we did it.
It Started With a Client Named Tammy
In 2014, a client named Tammy walked into our Dover, Delaware gym completely overwhelmed. She was a tax accountant in the middle of tax season — stressed, exhausted, and unable to handle the intensity of a normal training session. So we dropped it down. We skipped the workout and just stretched her instead.
It helped. The next week, still stressed, she came back. We stretched her again. Then she said something that changed the direction of our business: "Can we just do the stretches we do at the end of sessions — for the whole session?"
So we did. And other clients started asking for the same thing. For the next four to five years, stretch therapy was a quiet back-end service we offered without a real name, a real system, or a real business model around it.
The System Changes Everything
In 2020, we decided to treat stretch like we treat training — with consultations, structured sessions, pricing, and systems. That year, our stretch revenue tripled. We went from roughly $7,000 to $44,000. Then to $154,000. By 2024, CNU Fit was generating over $250,000 per year in stretch therapy services delivered directly to clients inside our gyms — and by 2025 that number had climbed to $458,625. That's stretch revenue alone, separate from training.
"I shared what we were doing with stretch in my gym owners mastermind. The average gym in the room was doing $40–$50K a month in revenue. They all asked: can you teach me how to do this?"
Evans Armantrading Jr., CEO — CNU Stretch & CNU FitIn 2024, we launched CNU Stretch as a certification and licensing platform — giving fitness professionals the techniques, the assessment systems, and the business tools to build stretch therapy into a real, profitable service. Since then, we've trained personal trainers, massage therapists, group fitness instructors, chiropractors, physical therapists, and gym owners across more than 35 locations — including the first dedicated stretch therapy operation in the Dominican Republic.
CNU Fit Founded in Delaware
Evans opens the first CNU Fit location, building a semi-private training model that will eventually serve 400+ clients across three Delaware locations.
The First Stretch Session
A stressed client named Tammy asks to skip the workout and just stretch. The first unofficial stretch therapy session takes place on the gym floor.
Systems Change the Revenue
Stretch therapy gets a real system — consultations, session structure, pricing. Revenue triples from $7K to $44K in a single year.
GYR System Developed
The Green-Yellow-Red client feedback framework replaces the 1–10 pain scale, cutting new therapist ramp-up time and improving client outcomes from session one.
$250K in Client Stretch Revenue + CNU Stretch Launches

Our Mission
CNU Stretch exists to close the gap between fitness and recovery — by equipping professionals with the science, the systems, and the business tools to deliver stretch therapy that actually changes people's lives.
Science First, Always
Every technique we teach is grounded in fascia research and neuromuscular science. Our practitioners don't just know how to stretch — they understand why it works, which makes them better at adapting to every individual client.
Built by Practitioners, for Practitioners
CNU Stretch was not designed in a continuing education department. It was built on a gym floor, tested with real clients, and refined through over a decade of in-practice iteration. Every element of our curriculum solves a real problem.
Certification Is Just the Beginning
A credential without a business model is an expensive decoration. CNU Stretch equips certified practitioners and licensed gym owners with the pricing, marketing, and operational tools to turn their certification into consistent revenue.
Why CNU Stretch Is Different
There are other stretch therapy certifications. Here's what makes ours different — and why it produces better practitioners faster.
The GYR Client Feedback System
We replaced the 1–10 pain scale with Green-Yellow-Red — a universally understood traffic-light framework that gives practitioners real-time client feedback from session one. New therapists reach competency faster because of it.
The AIS Assessment System
Our Alignment Imbalance and Solution (AIS) framework gives every practitioner a structured, repeatable method to assess clients before any technique is applied — not a checklist, but a complete clinical lens.
Kinotek AI Movement Analysis
CNU Stretch is one of the only certification programs in the industry to integrate AI-assisted movement screening — giving practitioners objective, data-driven insight that subjective observation alone can't provide.
A Real Practicum on Real Clients
Every certification ends with a live supervised practicum — participants stretch real clients, not each other. You leave with competence, confidence, and content (photos and testimonials) to launch your stretch service immediately.
No Franchise Restrictions
CNU Stretch certification is independent — not tied to a franchise system, a territory arrangement, or a proprietary technique menu. You own your skills and apply them however, wherever, and with whoever you choose.
Business Tools Included
Pricing templates, marketing materials, client intake forms, hiring ad copy, sample contracts, and monthly coaching calls are part of the licensing package — because most practitioners fail commercially, not technically.
Meet the Instructors
CNU Stretch is taught by working practitioners — not curriculum writers. Every instructor still trains clients, still runs a business, and still has skin in the game.
