Built for Facility Operators, Not Solo Practitioners

The CNU Stretch License is for gym owners, studio owners, and health club operators adding stretch therapy as a revenue line inside an existing facility. If you're an individual personal trainer or massage therapist looking to add stretch to your own practice, the $1,500 Certification is the right path for you instead.

License FAQ

Is this a franchise? What are the ongoing fees?

No — CNU Stretch is a licensing model, not a franchise. There are no royalties, no territory fees, no required vendor relationships, and no restrictions on your brand or business identity. The $15,700 is a one-time investment. You keep 100% of your stretch therapy revenue and operate under your own name.

How many staff can I certify?

The licensing package includes certification for up to 5 staff members annually through the CNU Stretch Level I & II intensive — valued at $1,500 per person, or $7,500 for a full team of 5. Most licensees start by certifying two to four existing staff members and expand from there as demand grows.

Do I need to have a gym or studio to qualify?

You do not need an existing gym or studio to qualify for the licensing program. The model works for gym owners adding stretch as a service line, personal trainers building a dedicated stretch practice, and entrepreneurs launching stretch therapy as a standalone business. In fact, CNU Stretch helped launch the first dedicated stretch therapy studio in the Dominican Republic — starting from scratch with no existing fitness facility. If you have the drive to build it, the licensing infrastructure works regardless of where you are starting from.

How quickly can we launch after signing?

Most licensees are operationally ready to generate revenue within 30 to 60 days of the certification intensive. The practicum at the end of the two-day certification creates your first round of client testimonials and marketing content on the same weekend. With the done-for-you marketing deployed to your existing member base immediately after, many gyms book their first paid stretch sessions within days of completing certification.

What equipment do I need to get started?

The startup overhead is very low. You need a quality massage table (roughly 7 by 3 feet of floor space), a pillow, a bolster for special populations, a spray bottle with disinfectant, and wipes. No room buildout, no renovation, no equipment purchase beyond the tables. Most gyms launch using existing floor space — a corner of the training floor or a group fitness room during off-peak hours.

What if I want to hire a dedicated stretch therapist rather than cross-training existing staff?

The licensing package includes hiring ad templates and compensation plan frameworks specifically for this scenario. Many licensees do both — certify one or two existing trainers to launch quickly, then hire a dedicated stretch therapist as demand grows. The CNU Stretch team supports both paths through the monthly coaching calls.
